Participle: An adjective formed using the present or past participle of a verb (see Tense).
Examples:
Our new magazine is targeted at the thinking woman.
They explored the sunken vessel.
Phrase

Phrase: A group of words forming a part of a sentence. There are several types of phrases: noun phrases, prepositional phrases, adverbial phrases etc.
Note: Phrases are different from Clauses.
A clause contains both a subject and a verb.
A phrase may contain either a subject or a verb, but not both.

Nominative case: When the pronoun is the subject position in a sentence, it takes the following forms: I, we, you, he, she, it, they, who
Objective case: When the pronoun is in the object position in the sentence, it takes the following forms: me, us, [...]
