Pronoun case: Personal pronouns take different forms, based on the following cases:
Nominative case: When the pronoun is the subject position in a sentence, it takes the following forms: I, we, you, he, she, it, they, who
Objective case: When the pronoun is in the object position in the sentence, it takes the following forms: me, us, you, him, her, it, them,whom
Possessive case: When the pronoun indicates possession, it takes the following forms: my, mine, our, your, yours, his, her, hers, its, their, theirs, whose
Examples:
Nominative: She is going to sing. (”She” is the subject)
Objective: They gifted me a book.(”me” is the object)
Possessive: This house is hers / this is her house (her/hers indicates possession)
